Information processed on your device
- Salary amounts and salary-cycle dates.
- Transactions, merchants, categories, notes, budgets, bills, goals, sinking funds, savings, and investment-contribution records.
- Calculations and summaries derived from the information you enter.
- Language, currency, reminder, and biometric-lock preferences.
- Text you intentionally paste into Cash or deliberately pass through an Apple Shortcut or personal automation.
- When the Cash widget is enabled, a limited on-device App Group snapshot may contain the selected period, amount spent, amount remaining, currency, days remaining, and update time. It is not intended to include merchant names, transaction descriptions, notes, credentials, or complete transaction history.
Cash widget
The widget displays a limited snapshot prepared by the app and cannot create, edit, or delete financial records. iOS may redact values or show a placeholder according to device state, refresh timing, and privacy settings.
Information processed through Apple
- StoreKit product, localized price, currency, billing period, offer details, eligibility, entitlement, renewal, expiration, revocation, and transaction status.
- Face ID and Touch ID authentication results. Cash does not receive your face image, fingerprint, or biometric template.
- Local notifications and Apple backup services according to your device and Apple Account settings.
- Cash does not receive your complete payment-card details.
Support and website information
- When you email support, privacy, legal, or security, the operator receives your email address, message content, attachments, and related delivery metadata.
- The hosting provider serving the active website URL may process IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, requested pages, and security events to deliver and protect the site.
- The site does not use advertising, tracking pixels, operator-controlled analytics, or marketing cookies.
Purposes and legal bases
Information is processed to provide requested app functions, present proposed records for review, verify and restore subscription access, answer support and privacy requests, operate and secure the website, comply with law, and establish or defend legal claims. Depending on the activity, the basis is performance of the requested service, your deliberate request or consent, compliance with law, or a documented legitimate interest permitted by applicable law.
Messages and bank text
Cash cannot access your complete SMS or iMessage history. It processes a message only when you paste it or configure an Apple Shortcut or personal automation to pass selected text. Review the amount, date, merchant, currency, and category before saving.
Storage locations and international processing
Core budgeting records are designed to remain in Cash’s local app container and, for limited widget display, its on-device App Group container. Apple may include app data in device or iCloud backups according to your settings and Apple’s terms.
The public website is currently delivered through AppDeploy infrastructure. AppDeploy and infrastructure providers used to deliver and secure the site may process standard request and security information.
Support correspondence is processed through Hostinger Email and its authorized service providers. Provider processing may occur outside Saudi Arabia according to the infrastructure used to deliver the service.
Transfers outside Saudi Arabia are limited to what is reasonably necessary for Apple services, website delivery and security, correspondence, and legal obligations. The operator applies data minimization and seeks contractual and other safeguards required by applicable Saudi law.
Disclosure
The operator does not sell personal data. Information may be disclosed to Apple for Apple services; AppDeploy and website infrastructure providers for delivery and security; Hostinger and authorized email subprocessors for correspondence; a recipient you direct; or a competent authority when required by law.
Retention and destruction
- On-device records remain until you edit or delete them, use an available reset or delete control, or delete the app. Apple backups follow your settings and Apple’s retention practices.
- Support and privacy correspondence is retained in the active mailbox for up to 24 months after a request is closed, unless longer retention is necessary for law, security, or a dispute, then deleted from the active mailbox.
- Website and email providers may retain service, security, backup, or abuse-prevention records under their configurations, contracts, and legal obligations. The operator does not promise a provider-controlled deletion time that it cannot independently enforce.
- Apple retains App Store purchase and account records under Apple’s policies. Cash does not maintain a developer-operated subscription database.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request information, access, a readable copy, correction, completion, update, destruction, or withdrawal of consent where consent is the basis. Core records can ordinarily be accessed, corrected, exported, and deleted directly in Cash. The operator generally cannot retrieve information that never left your device.
Send requests concerning information actually held by the operator to privacy@cash-budget.online. Requests are handled without undue delay and normally within 30 days. Where permitted because of disproportionate effort or multiple requests, the period may be extended by up to 30 additional days after notice explaining the reason. Reasonable identity verification may be required. You may complain to the Saudi Data and AI Authority through the National Data Governance Platform, subject to applicable procedures and time limits.
Security, children, and changes
Cash uses safeguards appropriate to a local-first iOS application, including iOS data protection and optional biometric access. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Cash is a general-audience budgeting tool and is not specifically directed to children. A person without legal capacity should use it only with a parent or legal guardian.
This policy may be updated when the product, law, hosting, or operations change. Material changes will be communicated where required.
